About the board

Tduino Alpha was our first Arduino IDE-compatible alternative, developed to give users extra 5V and GND pins. We stopped manufacturing after 200+ units due to multiple technical defects - the lessons from which shaped Barebone and RoboBoard.

This product is End of Life. Its successor is Barebone.

See Barebone (successor)

Tduino Alpha was one half of the Tduino series, alongside Tduino v1.0. Looking for something custom? Our product design team builds boards to spec, or browse our current lineup.

FAQ

Tduino Alpha, answered.

No. Tduino Alpha is End of Life after 200+ units shipped, due to multiple technical defects. Its successor, Barebone, fixes those issues and is the board we recommend today.

It was our first Arduino IDE-compatible alternative, built to give users extra 5V and GND pins beyond what conventional boards offered - the same problem Barebone now solves.

Tduino Alpha supported the Atmega 8/168/328 microcontrollers, with an off-board USB Serial uploader, 14 digital I/O pins, 6 analog input pins, a 16 MHz clock and a 67mm × 54mm rectangular board.

Like a standard Arduino, it ran on Atmega microcontrollers via the Arduino IDE, but added more 5V and GND pins - the same design goal carried forward into Barebone.
