Build hardware. Ship products. Teach the next 50,000.

We work across IoT, embedded systems, robotics, PCB design, web and mobile - and we train the engineers who’ll do it next.

Working at Skubotics

Skubotics is a product development and education company based in Kolkata, West Bengal. Our engineers move between domains most companies keep separate - one week it’s firmware on an STM32, the next it’s a dashboard for the device fleet, or a classroom of students building their first robot.

We hire in small bursts when a project needs it, not on a fixed schedule - we don’t have open roles right now, but we keep a shortlist of people we’d call first. If the work we do sounds like the work you want to do, write to us - tell us what you’ve built and what you want to build next, and we’ll reach out when something opens up.

Where you'd fit

Roles we usually hire for.

We're a small, hands-on team — no open roles right now, but this is the mix we hire into when we do, and the exact blend of hardware and software shifts project to project.

001

Embedded & Firmware Engineers

C/C++ on STM32, ESP32 and Arduino-class MCUs — sensor drivers, wireless connectivity, power-aware firmware for products shipping to real customers.

002

PCB & Hardware Design

Schematic capture and layout for single- to multilayer boards, from first prototype through DFM-ready production files.

003

Web & Mobile Developers

Dashboards and apps that sit on top of the hardware — device fleets, telemetry, admin tooling, customer-facing apps.

004

Cloud & DevOps

IoT ingestion pipelines, device provisioning, infra that keeps a fleet of connected products online.

005

Trainers & Curriculum Leads

Run workshops and hackathons for our academy arm — explain hardware and code to students who've never touched either.

006

Interns & Fresh Graduates

We take on a small number of interns each cycle, usually pulled from our own training and hackathon programs.

How it works

No portal, no black hole.

01

Write to us

Email your resume and a couple of lines on what you've built and what you want to work on next — no application form.

02

Short call

If it's a fit, we set up a call to talk through your background and the kind of work you'd be doing here.

03

Hands-on task

A small, paid, real-world task in your domain — not a whiteboard puzzle.

04

Offer

Straightforward offer, no multi-round marathon.

Not a job — a tie-up

Open to partnerships too.

Not looking for a job, but know clients who need IoT, embedded or robotics work done? We work with independent bidders and on-the-field partners who bring us leads, on a commission or referral basis.
