FAQ

Barebone, answered.

Barebone ships as the board itself, supporting Atmega 8/168/328, with 14 digital I/O pins, 6 analog input pins and off-board USB Serial uploading. Since the uploader is off-board, you'll need a USB2Serial adapter to flash sketches.

Yes. It's fully compatible with the Arduino IDE, so any Arduino sketch or tutorial works out of the box. Its robust build and extra 5V & GND pins make it a common choice for classrooms, training programs and workshops.

It's a general-purpose project board for embedded electronics - sensors, displays, relays and more. Pair it with our Arduino Starter Kit for guided beginner projects, or step up to RoboBoard if you want dual-motor robotics.

Barebone gives you more 5V & GND pins than a standard Arduino UNO, at a lower cost, while staying fully compatible with the Arduino IDE and existing sketches.
